Performs facility chart audits retrospectively of all financial classes and patient types for required monthly chart audit reports in accordance with Tenet Policy requirements.  Responsible for completing defense audits and for auditing accounts with patient disputes.  Serves as Chairman of the Revenue Integrity Committee. Prepares reports of retrospective findings and reports it to the Revenue Integrity Committee and to Tenet Audit Services monthly through MASS. Responsible for the hospital chargemaster and managing the eCDM process. Assists Directors in their CDM reviews and changes. Provides hospital wide Revenue Integrity and CDM education. Manages the APC/Bill edit function and supervises all related personnel. Assists CFO and Assistant CFO with Pro-Fee/Clinic Revenue Integrity, Charge Master and Audit results to identify trends and opportunities. Active member of the following committees: TPAC (Technology/Product Analysis Committee), Utilization Management Committee and the Revenue Cycle Committee.
 

Qualifications

Valid Georgia nursing license and/or coding experience and/or chart auditing experience.  Hospital environment experience.  Familiarity with general charting and auditing practices.
